Events Connecting the Essex Business Community
As the only accredited Chambers of Commerce in Essex we have unrivalled access to leading national organisations, giving our Member community opportunities to engage with them as well.

On Tuesday 12th March we welcome our Members to a networking event with the Bank of England at Finishing Line’s new facilities in Basildon. We are honoured to be joined by Kieran Dent, Agent for the South East & East Anglia for the Bank of England. As our Agent, Kieran plays a vital role in providing valuable insights into the economic landscape in the region, further strengthening our organisations commitment to informed decision-making.

We are pleased to be hosting this off-the-record briefing on the latest assessment of the UK economy and their associated position on the Monetary Policy Report published in February. Kieran will also be joined by colleagues from the Bank to discuss the current industry exploration into the proposed ‘Digital Pound’ including attitudes to the initiative from the public.

This is a rare opportunity to engage directly with those overseeing the work of the Bank in our region, don’t miss your opportunity to attend.

Essex Chambers are proud to support the vital life-saving work of the Essex & Herts Air Ambulance in our region. We have worked with them on a number of projects the most recent will be our upcoming networking tour of their state of the art airbase and visitors centre in North Weald on Thursday 27th March.

This will be a fantastic opportunity for you to explore the amazing interactive facilities as well as supporting the important work the Charity does as £5 from each ticket will be donated to EHAAT. Mission depending, you may also get to see one of the charity’s helicopters up close, and speak directly with some of the crew who attend the most life-threatening cases across our county.

You’ll be expanding your network, with an exciting, engaging and empowering experience. What more could you want?

At the end of March, we’ll be holding our monthly Virtual Networking session on Wednesday 27th March. Elevate your professional network from the comfort of your desk. Connect with industry leaders, share insights, and build valuable relationships. Networking virtually is a fun, informal and highly interactive experience. It also gives you the opportunity to talk to a wide variety of people, some you may never have considered connecting with before.

Have you Considered your Digital Carbon Footprint?
We are delighted to be hosting a webinar on Digital Sustainability on Thursday 7th March, where we’ll be joined by Members Footprint Digital who will explore how you can measure and reduce your digital impact.

This fascinating webinar will uncover the impact the internet has on carbon emissions and how you as a business and as an individual can make a difference in that output.
