Looking for a sustainable way to power your small business?

As energy prices go up, many small businesses want to rely less on energy suppliers. Solar panels are a great way to save on energy bills by generating your own power and reducing your environmental impact too.

Solar Together is a group-buying scheme that helps small businesses and residents buy solar panels, battery storage and EV charging points at competitive prices.

Battery storage systems allow businesses to store excess solar energy generated during the day for use at night, reducing dependence on the grid. If you don’t use all the energy your panels generate, you can export it to the grid and earn money from it. New regulation means medium and large energy suppliers have to offer tariffs that pay you for exported energy.

Essex County Council is working with in partnership with IChoosr, experts in green energy to deliver the scheme, making switching to clean energy easy and affordable.
