The work that Essex County Fire and Rescue Service carries out can only ever be successful and effective if we constantly hear the views and ideas of our public, partners and stakeholders.
That’s why we’re inviting you to participate in our consultation process on the proposed changes or initiatives for the Service’s Community Risk Management Plan (CRMP) 2023-2030.
What is a CRMP?
We have a statutory duty to produce a Community Risk Management Plan (CRMP) which sets out the challenges and risks facing our communities and how we intend to meet and reduce them. The plan will demonstrate how our protection, prevention and response activities will be used collectively to prevent and/or mitigate fires and other incidents.
The vision is to produce a CRMP that supports Essex County Fire and Rescue Service in becoming one of the best fire and rescue services in the country.
Your feedback is essential
To achieve this vision, we need feedback from our communities and partners on the proposed changes or initiatives which will form the CRMP.
Join our workshops
We have organised a series of workshops to explore key themes based on the CRMP proposals. We encourage you to attend any of the sessions that align with your interests or expertise. Please click on the workshop titles below to sign up and learn more about each session:
