A South Essex law firm has appointed a new Partner with effect from 1 August 2019.
Helen Jago, who was previously an Associate Solicitor in the Wills, Trusts and Probate department at Palmers Solicitors, which has offices in Basildon, Rayleigh, Thurrock and South Woodham Ferrers, is now a Salaried Partner.
She is the second new Partner in the department in a matter of months, coming shortly after the appointment of Donna Smy as a Partner earlier this year. Helen’s appointment means there are now four Partners in the department.
The firm has gained a strong reputation for its work in Wills, Trusts and Probate matters, with increasing numbers of people turning to it for advice on preparing for older age.
Helen joined Palmers Solicitors in 2003 as a Trainee, qualified in 2005 and has now worked her way up to the Partnership.
She said: “I am excited to be able to contribute further to the growth of the private client team focusing on providing a first-class service in the areas of Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection work and Probate at our newest Rayleigh office.”
Lee McClellan, a Partner in the Wills, Trusts and Probate department at Palmers Solicitors, said: “Helen is well respected by clients for her helpful and professional advice. We are delighted to have been able to appoint her as a Partner of the firm and I am sure that our clients will continue to value and benefit from her advice.”
