Success on a plate for Lancaster Mercedes-Benz Corporate
Just days before the arrival of the new 16-plate, the Chelmsford-based Lancaster Mercedes-Benz Corporate team has been celebrating its own registration record.
2015 was a resounding success for the nine-strong department, which has just handed over the keys to the last of the 1,133 cars ordered by leasing companies and local businesses throughout Essex and Suffolk.
As well as breaking through the 1,000-car barrier for the first time, Lancaster Mercedes-Benz Corporate was also named Best Supplier Group for the second year running by Lex Autolease, the UK’s number one leasing company.
Natalie Pudney, Corporate Manager for the Group, which has retail sites in Chelmsford, Colchester, Ipswich, Lakeside and Southend, said that her team’s success could be attributed to a number of factors.
“The Mercedes-Benz model range is now more extensive than it has ever been and together with improved fuel economy, lower emissions and competitive pricing is making the brand extremely attractive,” said Natalie.
“As a department, we take great pride in providing tailored solutions and delivering the very best service possible to our clients with our 2015 results testament to hard work undertaken over several years,” she added. “That winning formula comes from always doing what we say we are going to do and looking after people in the manner we would want to be looked after ourselves.”
Accounting for one-fifth of sales, the premium A-Class hatchback continues to be a much sought car amongst Lancaster clients and no wonder with its efficient performance of up to 76.4mpg (combined), CO2 emissions as low as 98g/km and a BIK rating from just 16 per cent.
Recently voted Best Executive Car at the UK Car of the Year Awards, the C-Class is another Mercedes-Benz in demand – the newly-arrived Coupe adding to the appeal of Saloon and Estate models amongst company car drivers and fleet managers.
“2015 was a fantastic year for the team and with models like the new E-Class arriving in the second quarter, we’re hoping to maintain our momentum in 2016,” continued Natalie.
“As the Mercedes-Benz brand continues to grow and evolve and attracts new customers, we need to be ready to adapt whilst ensuring that we continue to deliver the same exceptional levels of service that are enhancing our reputation amongst the region’s company car drivers and fleet managers.”
